Before paying for the trip
- Buy tickets only through FIFA's official ticketing, official resale/exchange or official hospitality routes.
- A match ticket does not guarantee a visa or admission to Canada, Mexico or the United States.
- Check entry and transit rules for every country in the itinerary.
- Use flexible bookings until important travel documents are confirmed.

Do not treat a screenshot as a ticket
Follow FIFA's official delivery and mobile-ticket instructions. Avoid unofficial sellers, social-media payment requests and claims that a ticket guarantees immigration approval.
Three-country entry checklist
- United States: determine whether you need a visitor visa or qualify for visa-free travel. FIFA PASS may help eligible ticket holders obtain a priority visa interview, but it does not guarantee a visa.
- Canada: there is no special World Cup visa. Depending on citizenship and travel method, visitors may need a visitor visa or an eTA. Canada advises applying early.
- Mexico: check official Mexican consular or immigration requirements for your nationality and itinerary.
- Transit: a connection can trigger entry or transit-document requirements even when the match is elsewhere.
Booking order that reduces risk
- Choose matches and host cities from FIFA's official schedule.
- Check passport validity and entry/transit requirements.
- Start necessary visa or travel-authorisation applications early.
- Buy through official ticket channels.
- Book flexible transport and accommodation where practical.
- Recheck match time, ticket delivery and local transport shortly before travel.
